The primary purpose of this position is to adhere to established company surveying policies, follow all survey service line procedures and ensure the crew follows standard procedures.

• Perform field survey activities in accordance with standards set by state statutes and the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping.
• Manage multiple field crews and assure adherence to procedures in the safety manual and use all personal safety equipment provided.
• Plan daily activities considering possible multiple projects to meet productivity goals set by Project Managers.
• Supervise crew vehicle and equipment inventory, loading and maintenance.
• Supervise the crew’s use of equipment, preparation of sketches and notes, and electronic data collection.
• Communicate with the entire crew and office staff about all aspects of the project.
• Work without direct day‑to‑day supervision and make technical decisions for the project assigned within specified limits of authority.
• Supervise daily data collection downloading.
• Participate in project team meetings and follow procedures outlined in Project Management Standards manual.

• Fluent English with strong reading, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other video conferencing software.
• Ability to use Trimble Surveying Equipment and software or similar equipment/software.
• Ability to collect and analyze data and apply problem‑solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a project team and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills are essential for this position.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with data collection and surveying equipment.
• Current Driver’s License.

• Associate’s Degree in Surveying or Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of five (5) years surveying experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
