Salary Range$40–$42 per hour.
What You’ll DoAs a home‑care registered nurse (RN), you will ensure hospice patients are comfortable and forge compassionate connections with their families. You will guide patients and families through the end‑of‑life journey, make bedside care decisions, educate patients and loved ones about the palliative nature of hospice, and deliver comfort‑focused care. Additionally, you will attend weekly interdisciplinary meetings at the local program office.
WhereYou’ll Work
Most of your time will be spent caring for hospice patients at their homes, private residences, or assisted living/skilled nursing facilities. You are expected to make 4–6 patient visits each day and attend one weekly meeting with the interdisciplinary team.
What’s Expected From YouQualifications include a valid RN license, at least two years of nursing experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to demonstrate Commitment, Compassion, and a Can‑do Attitude. You should keep patient welfare at the center of all decisions and extend comfort and dignity to all patients.
