Electrician/ Electrician Installation
What You’ll Do
You'll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems
- Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage module leads
- Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters
- Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switch gear
- Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs
- Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design
- Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings
- Complete tasks using KE’s internal software systems for reporting and documentation
- Learn from leadership and ask questions to gain a full understanding of assignments
- Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding issues or deviations from scope
What You’ll Bring:
- Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program
- Willingness to travel (up to 100%)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Prior documented electrical hours (if applicable)
$20.00 – $40.00 per hour dependent on experience

Typical requirements may include:
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Must be capable of working in inclement conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Must be physically capable of manually digging & back‑filling holes and trenches
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs
