Shop​/Mobile Service Technician

Job description:

Diesel mechanic technician for Kubota, Polaris and agriculture equipment. Responsible for implementing a basic diagnosis and marketing repairs on agriculture implements. Perform assembly, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.

• Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on Polaris, Kubota and some agricultural equipment
• Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns and documents on work order
• Learns/Maintains current knowledge of Kubota and competitive products
• Maintains a clean work area and condition of tools and equipment
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 4 years of experience performing service repairs preferred
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and HVAC used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Basic Service Technician certification preferred
• Personal tools including electronic diagnostic equipment is needed
• High School Diploma
• Trade school or other forms of training, and diagnostic skills and/or prior experience with ag equipment or diesel engines is a plus
• Valid driver’s license is required and good driving record
• Must have reliable attendance
• Ability to use basic computer functions

Pay: $21.00 - $42.00 per hour

• Mechanic: 4 years (Preferred)
• Diesel engine repair: 4 years (Preferred)

• Driver's License (Required)
• Non-CDL Class C or above (Preferred)
