Our client is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Staff Accountant with a strong background in Accounts Payable functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations, particularly in the areas of vendor payments, reconciliations, and compliance.

• Manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable process, including invoice review, reconciliations, coding, and timely payment processing
• Reconcile company credit card transactions monthly, ensuring accuracy and appropriate documentation
• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely submission of annual 1099 forms
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including A/P accruals and reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approval of payables

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERPs
• Strong understanding of A/P processes, including 1099 reporting and credit card reconciliations
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
