Job Details

Are you an accounting professional seeking a rewarding opportunity that offers both challenge and advancement? We are currently on the hunt for an Accountant to join our client’s established organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where you will play a critical role in our organization’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all AIA billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Managing collections, ensuring all outstanding payments are received promptly.

Handling invoicing, processing credits, and conducting account reconciliations.

Administering cash disbursements and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Utilizing construction accounting experience to manage project-based accounting tasks.

Leveraging Home Source software to streamline and optimize accounting processes.

Collaborating with other team members to prepare financial reports and statements.

Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Participating in financial audits and implementing any necessary corrective actions.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.

Proficiency in accounts payable, AIA billing, accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, processing credits, and account reconciliations.

Experience in construction accounting.

Familiarity with Home Source or similar accounting software.

Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
