What You’ll Do

As a Construction Estimator, you will manage pricing and proposals for complex, high-security projects across the country, collaborating with contractors, government agencies, and industry partners to deliver customized perimeter security solutions.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications to create accurate project proposals.

Manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Utilize Procore and Bluebeam software to enhance the efficiency of the estimation process.

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure all project requirements are understood and incorporated into bids.

Provide specialty contracting experience to enhance project proposals and bids.

Continuously update knowledge of construction methods and materials to ensure accurate estimations.

Balance multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring each is given the necessary attention and detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on estimating.

Proven experience in reading and interpreting complex construction drawings.

Demonstrated experience in managing the bid process and juggling multiple bids.

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Specialty contracting experience.

Proficiency in using Procore and Bluebeam software.

Experience in facilities and security is a plus.
