Job Description

Join a dynamic team to transform network infrastructure, develop innovative solutions, and drive the stability and scalability of AWS global infrastructure.

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch equipment.
• Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area; maintain a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.

• Ability and willingness to travel or commute between data center locations as needed.
• Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods.
• Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of assigned facility.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; may participate in group lifts of 41+ pounds.
• Work in a 24/7 environment, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
• Engage in bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.

Location:

USA, MD, Jessup – 27.00 – 48.00 USD hourly.

Travel may involve distances over 50 miles and requires a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
