Delivery Consultant - Security

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

• 3+ years of experience in application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing
• 2+ years of Amazon experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
• 1+ year in automating security operations, including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code
• Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

• AWS Professional level certification, or experience in a professional field or military
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
• Experience with compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST
• Experience with automation or working with scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent
• Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti‑DDOS, SIEM)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
