Description The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (AWS Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM). In this role, you'll manage a team of Pro Serve Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You will leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.

You will build and manage a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants and (or) Engagement Managers to architect and implement innovative solutions with customers and partners. You’ll routinely engage with directors, C-level executives, and governing boards, be responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery, and work closely with partner teams to drive business development initiatives through thought leadership.

In addition to managing the team’s performance and delivering engagements on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations, this role requires that the candidate selected currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires the selected candidate have the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in customer-facing roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
  • 3+ years of direct people management leading a team of consultants
  • Experience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite level engagement
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
  • Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services
  • Experience with business development work including complex agreements with integrators and ISVs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
