Principal Delivery Consultant - Security, WWPS ProServe Security

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) Global Security Practice (GPS) team is seeking a skilled Security Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Security Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Experience managing and delivering large‑scale enterprise IT projects
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies

• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
• Experience explaining technical concepts in pre‑sales environments
