Job Overview

This is a hands‑on technical role that requires an advanced software/systems engineering background. Coding/automation and design/architecture skills are required. The role is within the Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creation of reusable artifacts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
• 5+ years of experience in external or internal customer‑facing, complex, large‑scale project management.
• Experience designing, planning, and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
• Current, active U.S. Government security clearance of Top Secret or above.

• Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.

• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Knowledge of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
• Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS Data Sync.
