Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services. The role involves partnering with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that satisfy technical and business objectives. The consultant will play a key role in driving customer success, providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, and acting as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies and migration strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
- Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route
53, S3) - Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
- Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience
- Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Experience in design, development, and deployment of business software at scale
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
The base salary range for this position is USD – annually (location: USA, MD, Jessup). Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
