Job DescriptionThis position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. This is a hands‑on technical role that requires an advanced software/systems engineering background. The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer technical requirements and business objectives.
Responsibilities- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
- 5+ years of database experience (SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis). - 7+ years of consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
- 5+ years of software development with an object‑oriented language.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
