Job Overview

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role you will bring strong technical and program/project management experience to drive successful AWS‑based implementations that align with customer business outcomes.

• Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
• Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, defining documentation standards.

• 5+ years of leading delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross‑functional teams.
• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

• Project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• Knowledge of the value proposition of public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of business across organizations.
• Experience establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives.
• Experience representing AWS within the customer’s environment and driving discussions on trade‑offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation.
• Managed projects with 10+ resources, 6+ months, or $250k+ in contract value.

Must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
