Technical Account Manager, National Security - ES US-ADC

Join AWS Enterprise Support as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support National Security customers in a technical advisory role. You will craft and execute strategies that drive adoption of AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, Sage Maker, ECS/EKS, Guard Duty, and others, ensuring operational health and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership.
As a TAM, you will represent AWS within customer environments, lead discussions on incidents, trade‑offs, support, and risk management, and maintain close relationships to understand business and technical needs.
Travel requirements: 10% or more as needed. Must be a US Citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance (with polygraph).
Basic Qualifications- Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 2+ years of technical work experience
- 2+ years of technical engineering experience
- Experience in information technology operations
- Experience in internal enterprise or external customer‑facing environment as a technical lead
- 5+ years communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences
- Experience with development in a distributed systems environment
- Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience recognizing a challenge and working with variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
- Understanding of the AWS Well‑Architected Framework pillars and ability to apply them to customer architecture
Salary range: USD - annually. Compensation includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, etc.).
