Job Summary

Elite Spice is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to facilitate purchasing, sourcing, inventory planning, and supply chain analytics. The role combines strategic procurement with hands‑on supply chain execution, ensuring uninterrupted supply, cost optimization, supplier performance, and data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. This position partners very closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Technical Services, and Finance to improve operational efficiency while supporting company growth.

Position

Responsibilities
  • Forecast demand and material planning to align inventory with production schedules and sales forecasts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, qualification, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and conditions to maximize value while minimizing risk.
  • Manage purchasing activities, maintain purchasing records, and ensure timely procurement of raw materials and supplies.
  • Oversee domestic and international import logistics, including shipment tracking, contract follow‑up, documentation, and claims resolution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend purchasing strategies that optimize inventory, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze cost models, pricing reports, and inventory analyses using advanced Excel and ERP systems.
  • Research market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost‑saving and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, brokers, and freight partners.
  • Support cross‑functional projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and comfortable learning new software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and across departments.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI to complete required tasks as necessary.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field required.
  • 2-4+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or operations experience, preferably in food manufacturing or a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with import logistics, inventory planning, and supplier negotiations strongly preferred.
