Job Description

This role drives operational excellence, ensures financial performance, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

In addition to project execution, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in client relationship management, business development, and continuous improvement initiatives that support company growth and long-term success.

Candidates with a background related to site development, concrete, paving, and landscaping/hardscaping strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, providing guidance to project teams and field personnel
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (engineers, contractors, vendors) to define scope and resource needs
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management
  • Manage expectations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, contributing to repeat business
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
Financial & Commercial Oversight
  • Drive project profitability through effective cost control and margin management
  • Track billing, including progress billing and stored materials
  • Support collections and ensure timely cash flow management
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including negotiating and securing new work
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain project documentation systems (RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs)
  • Prepare and track submittals and shop drawings
  • Ensure efficient procurement and coordination with production teams
  • Champion continuous improvement in project management processes and tools
Team Leadership
  • Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and high performance
  • Promote safety, quality, and professionalism across all project teams
Qualifications
  • 5+ years project management experience pertaining to commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, contracts, and construction processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to pass background check
  • College degree in related field , but not required
