Cylinder Prepper - Loader

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Linde plc Safety Policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and site‑specific safety requirements.
• Apply basic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control principles to all tasks.
• Count incoming cylinders, verify lot numbers, and load/unload trucks as required.
• Inspect returned cylinders for surface defects and follow procedures for safe handling and storage.
• Identify and separate defective cylinders from production and transfer them to designated quarantine areas.
• Review, document, and confirm proper calibration of equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
• Safely operate a forklift and hand truck to support loading, unloading, and warehouse material movement.
• Fill cylinders in accordance with established guidelines, completing all required pre‑fill and post‑fill inspections and maintaining cylinder filling records in compliance with applicable regulations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good written and customer‑service skills with effective communication and ability to interface with co‑workers.
• Basic computer ability.
• Motivation and high energy.
• Formal forklift training and experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork, work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing customer demands and convey information clearly.
• Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred, with ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds and maneuver weights up to 100 pounds, while working outdoors in various temperatures and performing prolonged standing and frequent physical motions.
