Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a part-time Charge RNto join our Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Facility located in Jessup, Maryland.
The Behavioral Health ChargeRNis responsible for providing supervision of nursing and support staff on assigned shift in correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients. The Charge RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and mental health needs.
Qualifications- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred but not required
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred
