Job – Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Sr. Account Manager to support our Intelligence Community customers and drive the growth of our partner programs and pursuits in a high‑profile account. The role includes developing overall business strategies, collaborating across AWS, and engaging with customers, prime contractors and partners to accelerate adoption.
Key Responsibilities- Meet regularly with national security executives and mission owners to understand mission requirements.
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
- Accelerate customer adoption and satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and manage contract negotiations.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Develop long‑term strategic relationships.
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets, selling to C‑level executives.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management.
- Professional experience in opportunity management, partner engagement and capture activities for national security programs.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technology solutions.
- Past performance growing national security programs.
- US citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- 5+ years of direct sales in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to Intelligence Community customers.
- Experience operating in entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environments.
