Client Relationship Manager
Hercules Fence and Hercules High Security are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven construction professional to help lead the next phase of our growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. This is not a traditional business development role. Our challenge is not creating opportunities—it is maximizing them.
For more than 65 years, Hercules has built strong relationships with leading general contractors, government agencies, property managers, institutions, and commercial clients. We are looking for a motivated professional who can strengthen those partnerships, identify opportunities, help position us for success, and work closely with our estimating, operations, and leadership teams to convert opportunities into profitable work.
Reporting directly to the Vice President and working closely with the President/CEO, this highly visible role will help shape the future of business development within the organization. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence strategy, expand key relationships, and play an integral role in the continued growth of one of the industry’s most respected specialty contractors.

What You’ll Do- Develop and strengthen relationships with general contractors, government agencies, property managers, owners, and industry partners.
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, Lunch & Learn programs, and project pursuit discussions.
- Work closely with executive leadership to identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and our estimating, operations, and leadership teams.
- Identify and help position Hercules on key opportunities before projects reach the bidding stage.
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure Hercules remains a preferred partner.
- Participate actively in industry associations, networking events, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer engagement, bid opportunities, win rates, and overall client satisfaction.
- Construction industry experience with a strong understanding of how projects are developed, bid, awarded, and executed.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to lead meetings and presentations with confidence and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while remaining highly collaborative.
- Team-first mentality with a commitment to shared success.
- Experience working with general contractors and construction industry decision-makers is highly desirable.
- Established relationships with virtually every major player in the local construction market.
