Amazon Web Services is seeking a sales leader to support our Air Force Information and Intelligence customers. In this role you will help drive the growth and shape the future for emerging technologies. Responsibilities include prospecting and closing net‑new business as well as managing an existing portfolio of customers. The focus is driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the USAF.

- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Manage contract negotiations
- Develop strategic relationships with key accounts
- Meet regularly with DoW executive leaders and mission owners to understand their mission requirements.
The role requires a professional who is experienced in the full sales cycle, opportunity management, and customer relationship management for emerging technology programs in the Department of War (DoW). The ideal candidate will be able to translate customer requirements into technology solutions and has past performance implementing and growing technology solutions. Candidates should have an understanding of DoW and Intelligence Community infrastructures, policies, and operational performance requirements.
Eligible candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of DoD/DAF/CCMD professional or military experience
- Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- Analytical and data‑driven, with the ability to demonstrate balanced strategy and planning and execution skills
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or Master's degree
- Demonstrated experience in DoD technology leadership roles
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions
- Deep understanding of legacy and emerging technologies in the Department of Defense and National Security landscape

The base salary range for this position is $92,400.00 – $ USD annually, depending on location. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
