Part Time Dock Crew

• Sort and segregate products on the dock according to designated delivery routes.
• Assist with loading of shipments in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure that products are handled with care to prevent damage during the sorting process.
• Follow company policies and procedures for product handling.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This position operates in both an office/warehouse environment, or in a company truck/van, with both indoor and outdoor exposure to a variety of temperatures during the workday. This position may also use office equipment such as computer/tablet and phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse, dock, or logistics operations is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and warehouse practices.
