Clinical Team Coordinator

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Clinical Team Coordinator to support high-quality patient care across our hospitals and clinics. In this role, you will coordinate daily clinical workflows, staff schedules, and patient throughput, ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate care. You will serve as a key liaison between nurses, providers, and support staff, monitor quality and compliance, and support process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical workflows and staff assignments to support safe, efficient patient care
• Monitor patient throughput and collaborate with nurses and providers to reduce delays
• Serve as primary liaison between clinical, support, and administrative teams
• Oversee schedule changes, staffing needs, and resource allocation for assigned units
• Track key quality, safety, and compliance metrics and support corrective actions
• Use EHR and reporting tools to monitor patient status, orders, and documentation
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members on unit processes
• Escalate clinical or operational issues promptly to leadership
• Participate in quality improvement and standardization initiatives
• Promote LVHN's patient-first, collaborative culture in day-to-day operations
