Role Description The Framing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day framing operations on multi-family construction projects in Jesup, GA. This on-site role includes coordinating crews, reviewing plans and specifications, scheduling work, and ensuring framing is completed accurately, safely, and on time. The Framing Superintendent monitors quality control, conducts site inspections, enforces safety protocols, and resolves issues that arise in the field.

The role also involves communicating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers, tracking progress against project timelines, and maintaining detailed records and reports. This is a full-time position requiring consistent on-site presence and hands-on leadership of framing teams.
Qualifications

• Experience supervising framing crews on multi-family or similar residential projects, with strong knowledge of wood framing methods, building codes, and structural plans.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layouts, and to translate them into clear directions for field teams.
• Demonstrated skills in jobsite coordination, scheduling, and sequencing of work to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Commitment to safety, including enforcing OSHA standards, conducting regular safety meetings, and promoting safe work practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams, provide feedback, and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in basic construction reporting tools (such as daily logs, progress reports, and mobile apps) and comfort using email and digital documents.
• Prior experience as a superintendent, foreperson, or lead framer in multi-family construction preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade education in construction or carpentry is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, stand for extended periods, and perform site walks over uneven terrain.
• Reliable transportation to the Jesup, GA jobsite and willingness to maintain consistent on-site availability throughout the project.
