Admissions​/Marketing Director

Altamaha Health Center located at 1311 W. Cherry St., Jesup, GA has an opportunity for a full-time Admission / Marketing Coordinator.

• Achieves facility census goals and annual budget projections.
• Marketing of facility, market outside 85% and in house 15% with a range of 100 mile radius
• Works with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.
• Conducts admission screening of potential patients, determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as indicated.
• Coordinates admissions with appropriate staff.
• Maintains knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance company reimbursement.
• Participates in the facility quality improvement process by identifying customer service issues and reporting these issues to the NHA.
• Conducts tours of facility for prospective residents whether walk-ins or scheduled admissions.

• Nursing License Preferred
• At least2 years experience in business development
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed care insurance
• Experience working independently
• At least one year in Long Term Care
