The Clinic Tech is trained to prepare patients to see the physicians, assist with in‑office procedures such as wound care, casting, splinting, lab work, and provide assistance to the clinic nurse/provider with clinical duties as directed. In addition, certified radiological technologists will provide radiologic images as directed by the physician, maintain radiology equipment and supplies, and assist physicians and clinical staff as needed.

Position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist license preferred
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) considered
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • At least one year as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Previous Orthopedic experience a plus
  • Previous experience with casting/splinting, phlebotomy a plus
  • Current on BLS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and cheerful attitude
  • Able to enter data into the computer system accurately; good spelling
  • Type 40 WPM
  • Fast paced self‑starter
  • Highly organized and astute attention for detail
  • Provide outstanding customer service – must be friendly and compassionate to patients
  • Neat, professional look
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of electronic health record and other computer software as it relates to job functions
  • Attends continuing education courses as requested
  • Performs additional duties as requested by Director of Clinic Operations
