Role Overview :

As a Male Caregiver at First Light Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure their loved ones receive the assistance they need to maintain independence and quality of life. Whether you work day, evening, or weekend shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to accommodate both client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engaging conversation to clients.

Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.

Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment.

Remind clients to take medications as needed.

Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.

Provide transportation for errands and appointments.

Help clients engage in daily activities for a comfortable home environment.

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a client’s home.

Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules.

Bonus If You:

Have previous experience in home care or personal support roles.

Possess certifications in CPR or first aid.

Speak additional languages to enhance client communication.

Employment Type

& Availability:

This position is Part-Time and offers flexible scheduling with shifts available throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only for candidates located in or near Jesup, Georgia.
