Forklift Operator 3rd Shift

Overview

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of Yella Wood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking a Third shift forklift operator scheduled 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Keeps record of inventory.

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must have previous forklift experience
• Lumber experience a plus
