Tax Administrator; SARS eFiling & Tax Returns

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Tax Administrator to support our growing team. This role focuses on managing SARS disputes and individual tax returns
, with a strong emphasis on accurate administration, follow-ups, and compliance.

• Manage SARS disputes end-to-end, including:
  • Submitting supporting documents
  • Managing follow-ups with SARS
  • Tracking dispute progress and outcomes
• Handle SARS eFiling processes, including:
  • Notices of Objection (NOO)
  • Dispute-related submissions and responses
• Complete and submit individual tax returns accurately and on time
• Assist with internal workflow management and admin coordination; support teammates with tax-related admin tasks as needed
• Handle basic invoicing and administrative duties

• Proven experience as a Tax Administrator or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling
• Experience handling SARS disputes and NOO submissions
• Experience completing individual tax returns
• High attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Advantageous / Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with Section 6B medical rebate claims

• Reliable and organised
• Confident communicator (written and verbal)
• Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
