Junior Data Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Data Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be the primary point of contact for data admin requests and will support senior team members by handling essential tasks that keep operations running smoothly. By working under the guidance of Data Specialists and the Chief Data Officer (CDO), you will play a vital role in troubleshooting and ensuring data integrity across the board.

• Reporting Cycle Management:
  Execute and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure stakeholders have the latest insights.
• Data Administration:
  Act as the primary owner of all data admin requests, ensuring that data is organised, accessible, and correctly archived.
• Operational Support:
  Take ownership of tasks and projects that fall outside the capacity of the senior team, ensuring no request goes unanswered.
• Initial Error Investigation:
  Serve as the first line of defence when report discrepancies arise; you will conduct initial investigations to identify why an error occurred before escalating to the specialists.
• Data Coordination:
  Manage the movement of files across platforms (e.g., migrating data from emails to SharePoint folders).
• Basic Data Analysis:
  Utilise Excel tools (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to clean and summarise data.
• Data Validation:
  Ensure data accuracy by performing manual sanity checks and removing duplicate or incorrectly formatted entries.
• Documentation & Organisation:
  Maintain updated data dictionaries, map out reporting processes for team backup, and manage folder cleanliness on shared drives.
