Position: Legal Secretary (Tax Law)

Salary: R48,000 – R55,000 CTC per month (including benefits)

A prominent legal practice seeks a highly skilled Tax Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a busy Tax Team.

This role requires a meticulous individual with strong organisational capability, advanced document-production proficiency, and the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workflows.

• Monitor emails and prepare draft responses
• Manage diaries, answer telephone calls, and track messages in the absence of professionals
• Draft standard form documents (e.g., engagement letters) and incorporate amendments
• Maintain and manage files, ensuring an organized filing system
• Provide general office and personal administration support to Directors
• Organize local and international travel bookings, travel documents, and accommodation
• Maintain annual registrations with professional bodies
• Monitor and update professional social media channels
• Liaise with postgraduate students and university faculty administration
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and lecture slides

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a PA/Secretary
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Word and Power Point
• Basic knowledge of Excel
• Experience with File Site (advantageous)
• Matric certificate essential
