An established FMCG operation is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow its sales function. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the FMCG landscape, proven leadership capability, and the ability to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Manage, grow, and maintain distributor and retailer networks
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to optimise performance and results
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Ensure strong in-market execution, product visibility, and availability
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and management reviews
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management or a related role within FMCG
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven experience managing distributors, key accounts, and sales teams
- Strong analytical ability with the capability to convert insights into action
- Highly target-driven with a solid understanding of market dynamics
