Junior Web Designer

• Responsible for creating and maintaining company’s websites for the various brands. Conceptualising and implementing creative ideas.

SCOPE

• To manage existing and create new brand websites within the company and the brands.

• Frontend website design and development (UI)
• Website design and understanding (UX)
• Maintenance of current websites
• Strong understanding of CI, brand consistency and management
• Research and updates in industry relating to design programmes

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma or degree in design would be preferable
• 2 years Web Design experience
• Proficiency with Word Press
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CS6/CC or higher PC and/or Canva and Affinity
• HTML and CSS knowledge and coding would be an advantage
• Microsoft Office including Word / Excel / PowerPoint and Outlook

• A mature approach when dealing with people
• Excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Integrity and Honesty
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and work independently

The salary for this position is competitive and dependent on relevant experience.
