Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Human Capital & Transformation Practitioner – Johannesburg.
The Human Capital & Transformation Practitioner provides integrated coordination and operational support across Human Capital and Transformation functions.
The role supports the effective delivery of human capital processes and transformation initiatives through high-quality administrative, reporting, and compliance support. It contributes to the successful execution of the organisation’s Human Capital and Transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements, governance standards, and business objectives.
Salary: R37 500 – R50 000 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Human Capital Administration
- Administer and support all Human Capital processes and policies.
- Maintain and update the Human Capital document management system and employee records.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Human Capital function.
- Industrial Relations Support
- Provide administrative support in the resolution of Industrial Relations matters, including drafting correspondence, maintaining documentation, and recording minutes.
- Policy & Compliance Management
- Support the implementation of Human Capital policies and programmes to ensure legal compliance and consistency in people practices.
- Assist in reporting and compliance monitoring to minimise people-related risk.
- Recruitment & Selection
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, background checks, and offer preparation.
- Ensure fair, compliant, and effective recruitment practices.
- Performance Management
- Support the implementation and administration of the performance management system.
- Assist in monitoring performance improvement initiatives and related documentation.
- Organisation Design
- Support the maintenance and upkeep of organisational structures and role profile libraries.
- Assist in organisational design processes and documentation.
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate all pre-employment documentation and probation activities.
- Ensure structured and compliant onboarding processes to enable employee readiness.
- Coordinate structured and compliant exit processes.
- Facilitate bi-annual induction programmes.
- Organisational Effectiveness & Employee Wellbeing
- Coordinate and support Employee Wellness initiatives, including wellness programmes and
- Employee Assistance Programme facilitation.
Transformation Responsibilities:
- B-BBEE & Transformation Strategy Support
- Provide end-to-end administrative and operational support in the delivery of the approved B-BBEE strategy.
- Assist across all pillars of the B-BBEE scorecard.
- Support annual B-BBEE verification and audit processes.
- Learning & Development
- Draft and coordinate the annual training plan.
- Liaise with training providers and coordinate internal and external training initiatives.
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness.
- Facilitate bursaries, internships, learnerships, and graduate programmes.
- Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD)
- Support the implementation of approved ESD initiatives.
- Identify and support beneficiaries.
- Track impact and spend and provide relevant reporting.
- Socio-Economic Development (SED)
- Support approved SED initiatives and assist with stakeholder coordination aligned to strategy.
- Reporting & Governance
- Prepare accurate Human Capital and Transformation reports for stakeholders.
- Assist with external compliance reporting, including Employment Equity and Workplace Skills Plan submissions.
- Provide monthly and quarterly transformation reporting.
- Contribute to integrated reporting processes.
- Liaise with Marketing regarding branding of Human Capital and Transformation initiatives.
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Manage and control processes within area of accountability to minimise risk.
- Implement audit recommendations and address findings timeously.
- Support budget management and invoice processing within the Human Capital and Transformation functions.
Role Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- NQF Level 6 or 7.
Experience:
- 3–5 years’ HR generalist experience.
- 3–5 years’ experience in transformation and B-BBEE.
- Previous B-BBEE audit experience preferred.
- Experience with in a listed real estate environment will be advantageous.
