About the role

You will be part of the EEMA Professional Development team to lead the staffing and professional development of consultants across Quantum Black (QB) EEMA, as well as working with our leadership to build our value proposition for the specialist talent base we support and help further evolve our growing organization.

In this role, you will develop a professional relationship with Tech & AI (Data Scientist, Software Engineers, Data Engineers) consultants from the region (Africa, Middle East, Turkey & Central Asia), building an in-depth understanding of the consultant’s professional aspirations, experience, strengths and development needs. You will provide coaching and guidance on staffing (project assignment), skill development and career progression.

Moreover, you will build and maintain trusted relationships with the office leadership to ensure decisions are taken effectively and in accordance with both our clients’ needs and our consultants’ development needs. On top of this, you will manage the information flow in our system and work on special people-related projects as needed.

You will oversee end-to-end professional development and staffing for consultants across QB EEMA and ensure appropriate staffing on studies, monitoring development and feedback. You will collaborate with partners and guild leads to align development opportunities with appropriate client needs. You will develop strong trust-based relationships with consultants by understanding their aspirations, strengths, and development needs and leverage expertise in Tech & AI to guide and support consultants effectively.

You will partner with engagement directors to navigate expertise staffing, by understanding key clients and relevant firm expertise and help identify and access the right staffing pools to deliver the best of the firm.

You will manage onboarding and integration processes, ensuring new hires connect with the office and relevant communities and collaborate with learning team to ensure consultants receive timely and relevant training. You will coordinate review and evaluation processes and support feedback conversations and guide consultants on implementing development plans.

You will foster a vibrant professional community by supporting consultant cohorts and partner leads and act as an advisor and sounding board for community-building initiatives.

You will provide sensitive and proactive support during the exit process and work closely with partners to ensure smooth transitions and oversee information flow in people systems, ensure accurate and timely updates.

  • Proven experience in professional development, learning, and HR
  • Strong track record of performance, team leadership, and excellent coaching skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and project management expertise to structure and lead initiatives.
  • Flexible, non-hierarchical mindset with a genuine interest in understanding expertise talent needs.
  • High integrity, maturity, and discretion in handling people and confidential information.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and create structure from ambiguity
