We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced HR Lead to join a corporate Head Office team in Johannesburg, supporting HR operations across multiple branch locations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver an effective People Plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.
  • Lead HR best practice across talent acquisition, retention, culture, and organisational development.
  • Provide HR leadership, guidance, and support to management and operational teams.
  • Implement and monitor HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and business performance.
  • Coach line managers on performance management, talent management, and HR processes.
  • Manage discipline and dispute resolution processes to reduce organisational risk.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, including unions and relevant industry bodies.
  • Identify and report key HR metrics to support decision-making and business improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, internal policies, and ethical HR standards.
  • Promote a positive, values-driven and motivated workplace culture.
Requirements:
  • 3-year B-degree / NQF Level 7 in HR Management, Commerce, Industrial Psychology (or similar).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HR leadership role.
  • Motor industry HR experience (advantageous).
  • Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen.
  • Advanced dispute resolution, coaching, consulting, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong IT, data, risk management, and reporting competence.
  • Ability to translate strategy into operational and tactical HR plans.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to various branches as required.
  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Clear criminal record.
