As Paymentology continues to scale globally, consistency, judgement, and disciplined people decision-making are critical. We are looking for a People Advisor who can operate with confidence across regions, providing commercially aligned, risk-aware guidance to leaders while strengthening leadership capability and employee experience.
This role sits within Global People Advisory, providing strategic, commercially aligned guidance to leaders across multiple regions. Partnering closely with Director and VP-level stakeholders, you will advise on complex people matters, balancing business objectives, employment law principles, and a consistent global Paymentology experience.
This is an Individual contributor role focused on judgement, governance, employee experience improvement, and risk mitigation.
What you get to do::Strategic Employee Advisory
- Provide commercially aligned guidance to managers and senior leaders on performance, conduct, absence, probation, organisational change, and policy interpretation.
- Lead recurring and moderately complex employee relations matters end-to-end, applying balanced risk assessment and escalating appropriately when complexity increases.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, strengthening their capability and confidence in managing people matters effectively.
- Partner with Legal and senior stakeholders on sensitive or high-risk matters, safeguarding organisational integrity while enabling business outcomes.
Risk, Governance & Global Consistency
- Ensure consistent application of People established and evolving policies across jurisdictions, including advisory support on cross-border and relocation scenarios, balancing global standards with local legal and cultural nuance.
- Identify patterns and emerging risks from employee relations trends, recommending preventative and commercially aligned solutions.
- Support governance frameworks that strengthen compliance, fairness, and organisational trust.
Change & Organisational Impact
- Advise leaders through periods of growth, transformation, or change, providing structured guidance and risk mitigation support.
- Support People-led initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and reduce recurring people challenges.

Insight & Continuous Improvement
- Leverage People data and case trends to inform strategic recommendations and improve decision-making.
- Translate insights into practical guidance that enhances organisational effectiveness and employee experience globally.

What you bring:
- 4–6+ years’ HR advisory experience in multi-jurisdictional environments
- Strong experience managing recurring and moderately complex employee relations matters.
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders with credibility.
- Working knowledge of employment law principles applied pragmatically.
- Strong commercial judgement and risk assessment capability.
- Cultural intelligence and experience operating across regions.
- High emotional intelligence, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
