Key Responsibilities- Draft accurate, high-quality legal documents within required time frames.
- Conduct thorough legal research and present clear, practical findings.
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring records are organised and up to date.
- Utilise legal research databases, document management, and case management systems effectively.
- Oversee the diary and mailbox of the VP:
Legal, Risk and Compliance, tracking deadlines and coordinating schedules. - Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant legal requirements.
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within the legal function.
- Certificate or Diploma in Paralegal Studies (essential).
- Minimum 6 years’ corporate paralegal experience.
- Strong drafting and legal research capability.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- High level of attention to detail and professionalism under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, legal research tools, and document management systems.
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
