Lead the strategic direction and overall operations of the organisation in South Africa.

Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.

Oversee financial performance and ensure sustainable growth within the manufacturing industry.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in South Africa.

Provide leadership and guidance to the executive team and employees.

Identify opportunities for business development and market expansion.

Report to the board on the organisation's performance and strategic initiatives.

A successful Managing Director (MD) should have :

A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce or a related field is required.

An MBA or equivalent post graduate qualification is strongly preferred.

A minimum of years of senior management experience, with a majority of those years in a general management or Managing Director role within the manufacturing sector.

A proven track record of leadership with a strong focus on entrepreneurial and problem solving skills

Strong understanding of the South African market and regulatory environment.

Exceptional strategic planning and decision-making capabilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A strong background in the manufacturing sector with proven ability of having lead and grown previous organisations in terms of profitability, sustainability and growth.
