Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Commercial to lead their OTC commercial team. The Head of Commercial will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, manage key client relationships, and expand their presence in the digital currency market.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • CFA holder.
  • Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services or digital currency industry.
  • Strong understanding of the OTC market segment, including trading strategies, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
  • International exposure with understanding of the sensitivity of cultural nuances.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives, with a focus on the OTC market segment.
  • Lead and mentor the OTC commercial and liquidity management team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ensure the execution and delivery of OKRs and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the OTC market, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure consistent and prudent documentation, tracking and database management of clients.
  • Ability to represent the company with strong executive gravitas.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the OTC market segment, informing strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Assist with rolling out market entry strategies, protocols.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with commercial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure consistent collaboration with Compliance, onboarding and legal teams.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of maintaining risk registers, reporting on risks.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, partnerships, sales, compliance, onboarding, and legal teams.
