** Are You Someone Who Can:*
* * Develop and drive the implementation of the sector strategy that has long-term positive impact on business results aligned with global and functional objectives.
* Provide the required sector strategic leadership, at a local level, to enable transaction execution of the specific sector.
* Set and drive the achievement of sector specific financial targets, such as, revenue, ROEs, etc. and achieve the budgeted profitability.
* Develop and implement the sector strategy in line with the overall strategy and parameters set by the PRMC (Portfolio Risk Management Committee).
* Develop, position, and implement marketing strategies, conceive, and develop activities, and produce events with the goals of generating leads, building relationships, and highlighting the strengths of the organisation’s market proposition to potential investors.
* Continuously build the organization’s/ Bank’s sector profile with high level, representation at conferences, workshops, expert panels, key industry events, publications and other marketing events which fit the organisations market focus.
* Develop client engagement specific marketing programmes and assist with the execution of the local sector marketing plan for existing and new clients. Provide sector and/or market thought leadership and must be at ease doing so by tailoring messages and approach to varied audiences (internal and external) including very senior stakeholders.
* Understand, lead, and oversee all operational matters related to business development and delivery e.g., market sizing, analysis, budgeting, etc.
* Maintain detailed and current understanding of the sector (at a macro-global level, specific regional or local issues and key clients) to ensure that new opportunities for the group/brand are capitalized and threats are quickly identified.

* Prioritise key success factors, and work alongside all contributors (internal and external) to assure successful delivery, and the realisation of intended objectives.

* Embed a culture of client focus, collaboration, and transparency to reinforce a performance-driven work environment with a high level of accountability.
* Partner closely with other senior leaders within the organisation and engage in ongoing discussions and collaboration across markets.
** You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You:
*** Postgraduate or Honors Degree in Business or Finance or Economics or Strategy, Business, Technology, or similar is essential.
* A Masters in a commerce discipline or sector specific field or an MBA would be advantageous.
* Minimum of 8 - 12 years’ experience in investment banking environment, of which 3 - 4 years ideally at a senior leadership level.
* Minimum of 5 to 8 years specific industry sector experience, such as dealing with industry stakeholders at an Executive level, will be considered an added advantage.
* Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ Experience in Client Coverage within the banking sector.
