Marketing Manager

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing initiatives to attract new customers, retain existing clients, and strengthen overall brand presence. This is a hands‑on, results‑driven role requiring close collaboration with sales and senior management to drive business growth.

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity
• Prepare annual and quarterly marketing plans and budgets
• Measure, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

• Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity across all platforms
• Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials, communications, and campaigns
• Oversee corporate identity usage and adherence to brand guidelines

• Manage digital marketing channels, including the website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising
• Plan and execute traditional marketing activities such as print media, signage, promotions, and events
• Oversee content creation, copywriting, and design of marketing materials

• Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Liaise with external agencies, designers, printers, and media partners

• Work closely with the sales team to support lead generation and customer acquisition
• Develop marketing tools to support sales initiatives (e.g. brochures, presentations, proposals)
• Align marketing activities with sales targets and business development strategies

• Track marketing expenditure and ensure responsible use of the company credit card
• Prepare regular performance and progress reports for management
• Maintain accurate records of campaigns, suppliers, and marketing assets

• Effective execution of marketing strategies and campaigns

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role
• Proven experience in both digital and traditional marketing
• Experience managing marketing budgets and external suppliers

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing‑related software/tools
• Valid driver’s license (required for company vehicle use)
