Established in April 2016, CBO aims to bridge educational gaps by offering free services, including tutoring, mentoring, career guidance, and tertiary application assistance. The organization strives to empower learners to achieve academic success and fulfill their potential.

This is a hybrid volunteer role for a You Tube Coordinator based in Johannesburg, with the flexibility to perform some tasks remotely. The Volunteer You Tube Coordinator will be responsible for managing Classroom Buddies Organisation's You Tube channel by shooting, producing, editing, and uploading video content. Key duties will include collaborating with team members to create engaging video materials, optimizing content for You Tube, and implementing strategies to grow the channel's reach and engagement.

Communication with the team and attention to detail will be crucial for success in this role.

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing
• Familiarity with managing You Tube channels, including optimizing content for reach and engagement
• Strong Communication and Marketing skills to collaborate effectively and promote video content
• Passion for education and creating impactful content that supports the organisation's mission
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Previous experience in a similar role or a background in education is a plus, but not mandatory
