* Boutique Hotel in Melrose, Johannesburg is looking for a is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead it’s acclaimed dining destinations.

This is a feet-on-the-ground leadership role for a dynamic, charismatic hospitality professional who thrives on the floor, engages confidently with guests and leads by example.

Duties:

Oversee daily operations across both restaurants
Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless front- and back-of-house collaboration
Lead, mentor, and manage all waitstaff
Uphold exceptional service standards and drive ongoing staff training
Maintain strong wine knowledge and assist guests with informed recommendations
Ensure a refined, consistent, and memorable guest experience

Requirements:

Grade 12
A formal hospitality qualification
Highly experienced in luxury or boutique hospitality environments
Charismatic, polished, and guest-focused
Strong leader with proven team management skills
Deep understanding of service standards, training, and wine culture
Passionate about excellence and operational detail
