Are you a results-driven professional with deep experience in the fire detection and gas suppression industry? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our sales team in Johannesburg
. This market‑related salary position offers an opportunity to drive significant business growth and establish strong, lasting client relationships in a vital sector.

About the Role

As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence for Masc Solutions. This position is perfect for a highly organized, detail‑oriented professional with prior experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the Fire Detection & Gas Suppression service industry.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust client pipeline and maintain active prospect lists.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct a minimum of 100 sales calls per week and provide outstanding client service through regular meetings and relationship‑building activities.
  • Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the sales process from proposal development to contract finalization and operational handover.
  • Service Knowledge: Understand and communicate the company's full service offering, pricing structures, and proactively address client needs by demonstrating a full understanding of the service offerings.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases and competitor intelligence.
  • Quoting: Ensure timely preparation of accurate quotes.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • SAQCC FD & Gas Suppression Designer certification.
  • 4‑5 years of sales experience specifically in the Fire Detection & Gas Suppression industry.
  • Computer literacy.
  • PSIRA registration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
