Are you an experienced and driven sales professional with a passion for developing international markets? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on growing business across Sub-Saharan Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the export portfolio, establishing and managing distributor relationships, and driving sustainable sales growth in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research potential markets and assess opportunities for product distribution.
  • Identify and engage with prospective distributors and installation partners.
  • Develop and implement effective regional distribution strategies.
  • Establish, train, and support agents or distributors to promote and sell products successfully.
  • Conduct regular client visits, providing ongoing sales and technical support.
  • Monitor agent performance and drive growth to achieve full market potential.
  • Prepare visit reports, market analyses, and presentations for management review.
  • Manage product and pricing master data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain Coordinators to ensure smooth order-to-cash processes.
Key Markets: Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Somalia
Frequent travel across these regions will be required. A valid passport and willingness to travel are essential.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a technical sales environment, preferably within Sub-Saharan African markets.
  • A post-matric qualification in Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of international sales and export processes.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with exposure to ERP systems (such as SAP or Pastel).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Confident, resilient, and capable of thriving under pressure.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving ability.
