Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform regular inspections and scheduled maintenance on
Heavy Goods Mechanics to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and
hydraulic issues. This includes routine checks on brakes, engines, transmissions,
suspensions, and other essential systems.
• Diagnose Problems:
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot
complex mechanical problems, determine root causes, and implement effective
solutions efficiently.
• Repairs:
Carry out repairs on faulty parts or components of Heavy Goods Mechanics,
ensuring compliance with manufacturer's specifications and safety standards.
• Parts Management:
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, order new parts
when necessary, and ensure their proper usage during repairs and maintenance.
• Record-Keeping:
Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities,
including work performed, parts used, and hours worked. Maintain comprehensive
records for each Heavy Goods Mechanic in the fleet.
• Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all Heavy Goods Mechanics comply with safety
regulations and standards. Conduct safety inspections and tests as required by
relevant authorities.
• Quality Assurance:
Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and ensure that all
repaired and serviced Heavy Goods Mechanics meet quality expectations before
they are returned to service.
• Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program
to minimize breakdowns and prolong the lifespan of the Heavy Goods Mechanics.
• Team
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team,
including mechanics and technicians, to share knowledge and work together
effectively.
• Working knowledge of auto data systems.
Technical Expertise:
High proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Heavy Goods
Mechanics, including a deep understanding of their mechanical, electrical, and
hydraulic systems.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience as a Heavy Goods Mechanic or
in a similar role.

Certifications:
Relevant certifications or qualifications in Heavy Goods Mechanic
mechanics or automotive engineering are highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to efficiently
diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Attention to Detail:
Meticulous approach to work, ensuring precision and accuracy in
all repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Safety Focus:
Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations to
maintain a safe working environment and roadworthy Heavy Goods Mechanics.
• Communication:
Effective communication skills to interact with team members,
