Workshop Foreman

Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join the Johannesburg team,

· To oversee and coordinate all workshop activities, ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and servicing of earth moving equipment

· Delegate tasks effectively and coordinate activities to achieve timely outcomes

· Ensure that all workshop and field service activities comply with SHEQ standards and regulatory requirements

· Maintain full adherence to safety audits, promptly implement corrective actions, and complete all quality inspections and checklists accurately

· Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair tasks for all equipment to ensure operational efficiency

· Schedule planned maintenance activities while prioritizing urgent breakdowns to minimize downtime

· Deliver timely and reliable technical support to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

· Manage day-to-day Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion

· Consolidate completed jobs for accurate billing and closure

· Oversee warranty-related repairs and ensure proper documentation for submission

· Maintain precise and up-to-date high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and feedback management

· Grade 12

· Diesel Mechanic / Earth Moving Mechanic Trade Test

· Minimum 10 years of experience in the earth moving equipment industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role.

· Strong understanding of earth moving equipment

· Proficiency in workshop management software and MS Office Suite is an advantage

· Valid driver’s license required
